Education Collab
This is for all those working with children and young people and meets once a term for support and encouragement. The group seeks to discover together how to bring transformation to the children and young people they serve and the systems they serve within.
Community Grocery Sunday (9:30am & 11:30am)
Join us for a special Community Grocery Sunday as we celebrate the incredible work happening through Community Groceries.
It’s an opportunity to hear stories, celebrate the difference they’re making in our local community, and discover the many ways you can get involved and support the work.
We’ll also be holding a “Bring a Tin” collection on the day. If you’re able to, bring along a tin or other non-perishable food item to help stock the shelves and share support.
Whether you donate, volunteer, pray, give or simply spread the word, there are lots of ways to get behind our Community Groceries.
Come and celebrate what’s happening, hear more about the impact being made, and find out how you can be part of it.

Prayer & Fasting Day
We’d love you to join us as we take some time to seek God together.
One way to get involved is by fasting, this could be a meal, fasting for the day, or giving up something that normally takes up your time, like social media, TV, or gaming.
The idea isn’t just about giving something up, but about creating more space in our day for prayer and for focusing on God. Whether you choose to fast in a small way or a bigger way, it’s simply an opportunity for us as a church to pause, pray, and seek God together. 🙏
Family Event - Light Party
Join us for a fun-filled Light Party on Saturday, 31st October, from 10 AM to 12 PM! This is a fantastic family event for primary aged children and their families.
There will be:
Face painting
Exciting activities
A dance floor for all to enjoy
Sweets and treats for everyone!
Don’t forget to come dressed in your brightest and sparkliest outfit so you can shine like the star you are! Admission is FREE and booking isn’t required. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a morning of fun and fellowship while sharing God’s love and light.
Xcel Men's Conference
Join us for the Xcel Men’s Conference at Life Church Bradford, an incredible weekend designed to inspire, equip, and challenge men to live out their faith with purpose. Featuring powerful worship, world-class speakers, and the opportunity to connect with hundreds of men from across the nation.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. It is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, personal care items, school supplies, and fun gifts.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Water Baptisms (9:30am & 11:30am)
At Life Church we love Baptisms. Baptisms are an outward sign of an inner transformation. It's a way of demonstrating that we are washed clean and get a fresh start when we give our lives to Jesus. It's a visual image of one way of life ending, and a new life in Christ beginning. We baptise people who have made the decision for themselves to follow Jesus. For this reason we baptise people when they are old enough to make this decision. This means that we baptise young people and adults. Baptisms are a joy filled experience for the whole Church community.

YA - Student Lunch
The Young Adults team is hosting a Students Lunch at the Life Church Building. If you’re a uni student, or know any, get this date down in your diaries. It’s a great way to get to know your fellow students, get connected into church and fill up on some grub!
Worship & Prayer Night
We are doing another prayer and worship night. This is always a highlight in the calendar. We love setting time to worship and pray together outside of our usual Sunday gatherings. You are welcome to join us here at the Life Church Building.
Life Women Breakfast
Join the Ladies for breakfast. It’s a great opportunity to get better connected and catch up with friends. We will be gathering at our church building and the cost of the breakfast is £6. To register, either email us at info@lifelancs.org or visit reception after any Sunday gathering.

Love Where You Live
If you're looking for something fun to do this summer, we've got just the thing!
Our Love Where You Live fun day is happening at West End Community Centre on Sunday 23rd August, from 2 until 4pm.
It's a free afternoon for the whole family with sports, crafts, face painting, live music, games and something for the whole family.
So invite your friends, bring the family, and come and join us for a brilliant afternoon.
YA Bowling
Our Young Adults are getting together for an evening of ten pin bowling from 6:30pm on Sunday 14th June at Discobowl Burnley!
If you are aged 18 to 30 something and you want to connect with other Young Adults in our community, whilst showing off your bowling skills, then you need to get this date in your diary!
The cost is £12 per person for unlimited bowling. Sign up is essential for lane booking purposes so to let us know you're coming email info@lifelancs.org or sign up at reception on Sunday!
Creative Afternoon (Crafts)
Join us for a joyful afternoon of crafts, creativity, and community for all ages at our church building! Whether you’re a seasoned maker or simply curious to try something new, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Activities will include crochet, water beads, painting, drawing, paper flower making, and plenty more hands-on fun. Come along to create, connect, and spend a relaxed afternoon together. All are welcome!
Life Women: Karaoke
We’re hosting a Karaoke night for Life Women! It’ll be from 7.30pm - 9pm and there’s no pressure to do a song but we reckon that before the night is done you’ll want to have a go! This is the perfect event to invite friends and family to and a great opportunity to get to know other ladies in the Life Church community.
The Big Clean
We are excited to have a great opportunity to serve our church community at the Big Clean. It’s 10am until 12pm but if you’re not able to make it for the whole morning then come for what you can. We’re providing lunch and so to let us know that you’re coming and about any dietary requirements, please email info@lifelancs.org.

The Easter Weekend which is now just a few weeks away. On Easter Sunday we’ll gather to celebrate the love, life and light of Jesus. There’ll be a chocolate treat for all the children and a brilliant message that puts Jesus right at the centre of everything; just where He belongs!
Good Friday (9:30AM & 11:30AM)
The Easter Weekend which is now just a few weeks away, begins with our 9:30AM & 11:30AM Good Friday gathering. This is an opportunity to look again with fresh eyes on the events of that incredible day that changed the world forever. Join us for worship, teaching, prayer and communion.
Easter Family Event
We have an awesome Easter Family Event happening THIS SATURDAY! Join us from 10:30am until 12:00pm for an interactive journey through the Easter story. Families will get the chance to experience the greatest story ever told through creative prayer spaces and activities. There will also be an Easter tuck shop to enjoy too! Booking isn’t required so pop the date in your diaries and invite the family!
YA Connect
Our YA Connect is for young adults (18-30's) to get together have some fun, make new friends and hear from someone from our community. They are a great space to invite friends to, with good energy, live music and refreshments.

Vision Offering (9:30am & 11:30am)
Vision Week concludes with our Vision Offering! This is an opportunity to give financially towards the vision focus for this year. Please take some time to think and pray about how you can give this year.
Heart & Soul
Heart and Soul is for all those who consider Life Church their home. On the night we will worship and pray together as well as look back over 2025 and celebrate all that God has done in and through our church community.
Vision Sunday (9:30am & 11:30am)
Vision Week begins with Vision Sunday! We will be gathering at 9:30am and 11:30am to worship together and to hear our vision theme for the year, as well as hearing the new and existing ways in which we’re aiming to impact our community and lead people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus in 2026.

Life Men: Six Connections
We are excited to be hosting this men’s event with Six Connections. Dave Scholes is the guest speaker and creator of Six Connections. We are hoping this night will be fun and also provide space to talk. There will also good grub as well.
