Brighter Future School is a primary school based in Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan. Life Church founded the school in 2006 and we have been funding it ever since. In Pakistan, education isn’t universally free, or accessible, and so for many poorer families it simply isn’t an option.
The school currently educates an average of 65 children each year, providing uniform, books, stationary and fruit each day.
Delivering a free primary education means that when our students graduate, they can access High School which unlocks future possibilities for them and their families. We now employ teachers who were once students in the school and one former student works in Lahore High Courts.
Every Christmas we send gifts for the staff and students as well as responding to crisis situations such as supplying food, masks and sanitiser during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recently we were able to financially support the family of a student who sadly passed away.
You can get involved in two simple ways - by committing to pray for the work of the school, and also by giving financially using our giving form.
Keep your eye out for the Brighter Future School updates, newsletters and celebration events.
