Brighter Future School is a primary school based in Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan. Life Church founded the school in 2006 and we have been funding it ever since. In Pakistan, education isn’t universally free, or accessible, and so for many poorer families it simply isn’t an option.

The school currently educates an average of 65 children each year, providing uniforms, books, stationary and fruit each day.

Delivering a free primary education means that when our students graduate, they can access High School which unlocks future possibilities for them and their families. We now employ teachers who were once students at the school and one former student works in Lahore High Courts.

Every Christmas we send gifts for the staff and students as well as responding to crisis situations such as supplying food, masks and sanitiser during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recently we were able to financially support the family of a student who sadly passed away.

You can get involved in two simple ways - by committing to pray for the work of the school, and also by giving financially using our giving form.

Keep your eye out for the Brighter Future School updates, newsletters and celebration events.

Arooj is from the Christian community, a persecuted minority in Pakistan. She lives at home with her mother, father, and baby brother. Arooj is 5 years old and is part of our nursery class. She's very enthusiastic about studying and does great in her studies. Her family's financial situation isn't great. Her mother works as a domestic helper, and her father lost vision in one eye due to an accident, making it hard for him to work regularly. He's only 28 years old. Her elder sister had to drop out of school due to financial constraints. They live in a place with no gas or electricity, and they don't own a house—they're living in a rented one. Pray for Arooj and our other children at Brighter Future School, pray for hope, for the light of Christ to shine in their lives, and for them to have a Brighter Future, in Jesus name!
